Create Your Canada PMB Contest for Students (Grades 11 & 12)
Create Your Canada is a contest for young people from across the riding of Edmonton Strathcona. It is an opportunity for students to submit their ideas for a new federal law with the aim of making Canada a stronger, and better country for all.
If chosen, you’ll work closely with MP Heather McPherson, your Member of Parliament for Edmonton Strathcona, and her team to have your idea drafted into a Private Members Bill.
The winner(s) will be flown to Ottawa to see their Private Member’s Bill (PMB) presented to the House of Commons in person with all accommodations, flights, and food provided by MP McPherson.
